Intellectual Property and Localization

One of our major concerns at SALT Group is the issue of protecting the Client's information under all expected and unexpected circumstances. We believe that the Intellectual Property - referred to here as IP - can be defined, according to our business, as: "Any product of someone's intellect that has commercial value, especially copyrighted material, patents, and trademarks".

This definition applies to the client provided material for Linguistic servicing and applies also to SALT translation production delivered to the client.

So, each of client and vendor have equal share of the responsibility of protecting each other's interests, each according to its available systems and tools. More Discussions will follow...
