The standard request for applicants to join SALT team falls under the following two Linguistic categories;
A) Experienced professional Localizers; and
B) Fresh Graduates.
1. University Graduate of a distinguished English Language department, Or University Degree in one of our major fields of specialization + Post Graduate English Intensive studies (min 2 years).
2. Mastering Arabic Language grammatical rules, styles, syntax, forms, etc.
3. A Successful Candidate must pass our essential Arabic Language evaluation qualifier test.
4. High skilled qualifications in using Word Processors, Translation Tools (Trados for example), Office applications, Web editing, email, Internet search engines, working with Network for file transfer, printing, etc. and file backup systems.
5. Basic Knowledge about Desktop Publishing applications such as graphic editing, DTP tools.

1. responding to outside enquiries concerning linguistic assessments relating to translation on a contract basis
2. meetings and presentations with prospective and current clients
3. the appointment and training of checkers, translators, proofreaders
4. commissioning, editing, inputting, proof-reading and preparation of contract material
5. responsible for assisting with the translation and production work
6. printing and reproduction of contract material
7. checking and despatch of material
8. assisting with checking and quality assurance
9. assisting with preparation of invoices
10. maintenance of databases
11. assisting with quality control of LSL material
12. archiving and storage of LSL materials
13. dealing with communications and personal callers relating to the above and maintaining data on the same
14. budgetary input into any or all of the above activities
